On December 5th 2009, friends gathered to
celebrate the 85th Birthday of Frances
Woofenden.
Most everyone knows Frances since she has
been on TV as an icon for V8, interviewed by
news anchors and is known at Okeeheelee, we
thought we would ask some questions nobody
else ever has.
Do you have any tattoos?
You mean you haven't seen them?
What would you consider your greatest
accomplishment?

What were you known for is high school?

When did you start wearing pink?
Do you want to see all the empty lipstick cases
What is your favorite food to cheat on your
diet?
Chocolate
If you had a "stage" name, what would it be?

Charlotte said "her majesty"
In what year did you have your first kiss?
What kind of kiss are you talking about?!
Are any of your V8 photos airbrushed?
Its all me. What you see is what you get!
If you couldnt ski, what else would you like
to do?

in her house)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRANCES!

1st ANNUAL NEW YEARS CHILLY DAY CHILI DAY SKI
|
On January 1, 2010 Ski Club members donated crocks of chili and other munchies.
However, for some reason there were a lot of brownies. There always seems to be many
brownies around our club and tournaments. Trish Burt heads up the brownie committee,
but we had tasty brownie donations from Mike Erenberg and Nancy Sailfish. Pat Keeler
brought a salad to share because she is healthy. "I really like this cornbread from the
Fresh Market" says Laurie Lindsey.
A pelting rain came as warned by our weather-man Mike. Jeff Kepchia skied in the
downpour and Brian Gorski ran around begging to get a hockey game together. For some
reason our visitors from Canada refuse to play hockey with us.
In other news, we had a sighting of Daryl trying to step on Trish, we don't know why?
See below if you are ever in need of instructions to transport your crock of chili in your boat
to the lake. An IKEA bag is needed and two bungee cords. Strap the cord around the
handles and the seat. It is proven technique and there were no spills.
Thanks to everyone who made it after a rough night of New Years.
